In a recent article by the St. Louis Business Journal, 
five St. Louisans named as finalists in E&Y’s Entrepreneur of the Year were acknowledged. The individuals listed have each built a successful company and grown it to an impressive level, for which they are now being recognized. The list included the following St. Louis entrepreneurs:
- Scott Scully of Abstrakt Marketing Group
- Benjamin “Tad” Edwards of Benjamin F. Edwards & Co.
- Donn Lux of Luxco Inc.
- Susan McCollum of Major Brands Inc.
- Andrew Burch of SmartMouth Oral Health Land
Scott Scully earned this prestigious award for his entrepreneurship in the marketing services arena and St. Louis area for the past 20 years. Abstrakt Marketing Group is the product of a bold vision and strategy, but with hard work and dedication – Scott’s dream has become a reality.

These finalists were nominated for the EY Heartland program, which includes the region of Greater Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
